Meet Rusty �%9D%A4��%8F Rusty is a 13-year-old chihuahua who has known love, loss, and the comfort of a warm lap. After his owner passed away, this sweet senior found himself needing a new place to land-one where he can feel safe, cherished, and close to his person again. Rusty is a gentle, easy companion who spends his days napping, quietly wandering around the house, and soaking up affection. He loves being carried and truly shines when he's curled up on your lap, content just to be near you. He is hard of hearing and has limited vision, but his heart is full, and he finds comfort in touch and familiarity. He is mostly house trained and does best in a calm home. Rusty may cry when first crated, but with reassurance, he settles and rests. All he's really asking for is patience, kindness, and a soft place to belong. Rusty doesn't need much-just a loving home to spend his golden years feeling safe and adored. If you have room in your heart (and your lap), Rusty will be forever grateful.
