%BD Rehoming: Razor - 21%BD'%BD%BDMonth%BD'%BD%BDOld Sable Belgian Malinois (Working Line) %BD Razor is a 21%BD'%BD%BDmonth%BD'%BD%BDold, 77%BD'%BD%BDlb sable Belgian Malinois from strong working lines - both of his parents were champion imports from Belgium. He's an energetic, intelligent young dog with a sweet, cuddly side and a goofy streak that makes him incredibly endearing. (He proudly carries blankets around the house and occasionally burps on you after snuggling.) Temperament & Personality Razor is affectionate, eager to bond, and loves being close to his people once he's had proper exercise. He can be protective and a bit anxious at times, but he responds well to structure and consistency. He's also very goofy and loves comfort items - he suckles on blankets as a soothing behavior. Training & Skills He is house%BD'%BD%BDtrained, crate%BD'%BD%BDtrained, and goes into his crate willingly. Razor knows commands in both German and English, including sit, down, stay, paw, leave it, free, and place. He learns quickly and thrives with mental engagement. He previously lived with an Aussie and a Yorkie and was reported to do well with them, though we cannot personally confirm since we have no other dogs. He ignores squirrels and outdoor cats, but cannot live with an indoor cat, which is the reason we must rehome him - it's the safest choice for both animals. Will be getting a video to show where he is at in terms of training. A previous owner mentioned he had exposure to 'knife work,' but stopped because he wanted Razor to be a family dog. We have not tested or pursued this and have no intention of doing so. To give Razor the best start in his next home, we are working weekly with a trainer who specializes in high%BD'%BD%BDdrive working breeds. Health Razor is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Ideal Home Razor will thrive with someone experienced with working breeds or high%BD'%BD%BDdrive dogs. He needs structure, exercise, and continued training. A home without indoor cats is required. He would do well with someone who enjoys an active lifestyle and appreciates a dog who is both athletic and deeply affectionate What's Included Razor will go to his new home with everything he needs: XXL metal crate Stainless steel bowls Dogtra e%BD'%BD%BDcollar (tone + vibrate) Ray Allen harness & collar 6 ft and 10 ft leather leashes Sealed food container Lots of treats Assortment of toys Why We're Rehoming Razor is a wonderful dog, but he and our indoor cat are not compatible. We want both animals to be safe, comfortable, and able to thrive, and this is the most responsible choice for everyone involved. Can answer any questions
