About Coffee

Meet Coffee, a beautiful 7-year-old female Dutch Shepherd who has spent over 2.5 years living at a boarding facility- not because she did anything wrong, but because she was abandoned by her former trainer and never had anyone advocating for her. Sadly, dogs who have been boarded long-term are now at risk of euthanasia, simply because no one has stepped forward to network them. Coffee is the easiest to place, and we believe she truly has a chance if the right person sees her. About Coffee -Breed: Dutch Shepherd - Weight: ~75 lbs - Age: 7 years - Spayed & up to date on vaccines - House trained & kennel trained - Leash trained & rides well in the car - Knows commands: sit, down, come, wait, stay, heel - Friendly with other dogs - Good with kids - Comfortable with strangers - Not suitable for homes with prey animals (cats, small animals) Coffee is calm, well-mannered, and has already done the hard work of learning how to be a great companion. What she hasn't had is a real home - a couch, a routine, and a person to call her own. If we can get Coffee (and hopefully one other dog) out, there's a chance another dog's life could be spared too.
