About Ace

Ace-Poodle/Irish Setter male, ~ 15 mo.(Dec. 2025) Contact [email protected] for an application Ace was taken in by a Trainer, looking to help dogs into a Service Dog program through Prisons. Ace fit the criteria and was in danger in the high kill shelter he was left at by a prior owner. He has the typical energy and ability of his genetics. Also said to be very quick to learn/intelligent. Ace has a great personality and lives with his Inmate Trainer and many other dogs in the program, doing great with everyone. He has Obedience/Husbandry skills/ Grooming skills & rides well in a car. He is crate and house trained. Ace is about 75lbs (Large size dog). He has not lived with cats, no opportunity in the Prison, but will be tested when he comes into foster care. Children over 15 yr. Are recommended, if children are in the home. Ace's adoption fee is $600 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. For our application, please email [email protected] for an application.
