In need of rehoming my 5 yr old corso that is so intelligent,amazes me even still. Fee waived for a legit. rescue. Reason for rehoming is that on the 4th the loud cannon type of fireworks were non stop and she got shook up from that. Unfortunately, they keep lighting them off all the time around here, and she does not like them at all. One was lit close to her and really scared her. Every time there is a rams, dodgers, raiders, lakers game here, off go the fireworks!! These idiots around here even light them off just whenever. As long as she is near you preferrably in the house, she is just fine. it kills me to rehome her but Its not fair to her to keep being exposed to this all the time. She is fearless except those loud cannons. Although she is doing much better now but still doesnt like them. She was crate trained at young age, but I dont use a crate.Can be left alone for hours and does not get destructive.She loves water, she plays with the hose. she watches tv. loves the show heartland as it has lots of animals that get her attention. She is very obedient. knows lots of words and sentences. I treat her like a young child not an animal. She loves car rides.will just let you give her a bath and not fight you. She loves to be brushed and towel dried. has alot of talents.Also is Very protective.with strangers. Until she gets to know them. As far as socialization, She spent her first year and a half with a family with 3 kids from 10 to 14. I have not had any kids other than my grown daughter around her. She is ok with male dogs. I had a male sheperd I introduced her to and they got along ok. She does not have a single bad habit at all. she does not even drool except when she eats watermelon!I Cook alot due to my health, so she gets lots of good helathy food all the time. Does not have any food guarding issues at all. She needs to go to a home not in the los angeles area unless its in the hills where there are no fireworks 9 months out of the year.NO apartment dwellers. Must have a yard. She goes in and out. She loves to be inside with her people but she also likes to go outside and get some sun. When you set boundaries, she abides by them. Sometimes the stubborn mastiff in her comes out and you need to repeat yourself but she is so easy to care for. She does get zoomies, so you just need to be aware of that.
