About smudge

Smude is an adorable young dog. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He was rescued from South LA Shelter by Maeday Rescue in Los Angeles. He is between 1-2 years of age. He is being fostered in a home with 9 other dogs. He is a wonderful guest. He is house trained, crate trained, quiet, playful, soft mouth (which means takes treats gently) and is a total love muffin. He is still working to walk beside you and can pull. He is not reactive around other dogs on walks. He is scared of people approaching him but with assurance settles down within a minute. His ideal home will continue to provide structure. That means using a crate and having protocols in place when guests come over. He loves playing with my dogs so I think another dog would be great but not required. He loves walks, hikes, cuddles, playing fetch, treasure hunts, snuffle mats and being treated with respect. Smudge is a wonderful dog that will thrive with a family that will be patient and advocate for him when he is scared. He is sensitive with a big heart.
