About Rex

Meet Rex! Breed: dachshund/chihuahua mix. Age: est 6 months. Weight: 8lbs currently, we believe she will be approx 15-20ishlbs when full grown. Training: crate and puppy pad trained, working on house and leash training and he is doing well. Good with other dogs/cats? Yes. Good with adults/kids? Yes, though he is reserved with new people and in new situations. Personality: timid/reserved at first. He warms up to be affectionate and playful! Reason for rescue: owner surrender - accidental litter. We will helping have mom spayed. Rex has lived a quiet life so far and while he has warmed up quickly, he will need continued guidance and socialization to be the best boy we know he is. We recommend older children, 10 & up.
