About Belle

At just 1 year old, Belle has already survived more than most dogs ever should. She was a frightened stray, caught in a trap. She went to the shelter, was spayed, and had her pregnancy terminated. Then she went through heartworm treatment - all before she was even fully grown. And she came out the other side gentle, loving, and so full of heart. Belle is about 1 year old and only 45 lbs - truly a PERFECT medium size (she's smaller than she looks in photos). She LOVES her person with her whole soul. When she cuddles, she melts into you. She sleeps by your side, adores toys, is happy to go on walks, play, or simply exist next to you while you live your life. Belle would thrive in a home that fits her needs: -Wonderful with older kids -Best as an only dog (or with an experienced owner and medium/large dog) - No cats or small dogs - Fenced yard required - Active and playful, then happily settles in for cuddles - Potty trained She's a young dog who has already given the world so much grace - and is still waiting for someone to choose her.
