About Montana von Schrader

Montana von Schrader is a stunning, 2-year-old, long-haired German Shepherd with a touch of another fluffy breed. An engaging boy who will be very attached to his person, Montana has an exuberant and fun personality. He does need an active owner with big dog experience who he respects. He is house-trained and knows his sit, down and give paw, and he gently accepts treats from your hand. A wagging tail alerts you that he is ready for his walk. He even likes to run alongside your bike! He has had leash training, but if he decides to go check something out, he can be very strong. He likes to investigate new scents and sights he encounters. Montana would be fine as an only dog in the home. He is not a fan of male dogs but can do well with mild females and might engage in some play. He likes to dip his paws in the kiddie pool. He is uncomfortable around children, so an adult home is best. He would also like a home without cats please.
