About Gretel

Gretel is an intact, registered pure breed, 4yr old female, with energy that will keep the whole family engaged and entertained. She walks on a leash, is crate trained, is tie out trained, and was taught Sit and Down when she was young. She may need retrained on basic commands since they haven't been used in 2yrs. Gretel's flaws are, she will jump out of a fenced yard, and digs when she is board. She will chase every cat out of the neighborhood, though she will not pull you over, or rip the leash out of your hands to get to a cat. She has gotten loose and killed a chicken or two as well. Gretel would be a perfect fit for someone that lives in town. She would do well with kids, especially if they could play with her. She would love a family that goes for walks, plays together in the yard, and cuddles on the couch. She is a good security system as she will bark at 'intruders' until she sees you know they are there. Unfortunately for Gretel, my life circumstances have changed, and I no longer have the ability to work with her, and love her the way she deserves. I have raised many Catahoulas and would happy to give training advise to whomever she goes to.
