About Toby

Toby needs a home where he is the only pet. He is very affectionate and he loves to cuddle. He enjoys 'hunting' things dangling from a string and will also chase a laser light briefly, but when he is done he is done. Overall, he is not very active and just wants to lie on or near you. He will meow until he gets what he wants, whether attention or food. Our house grew in the past few years to a total of 3 cats and 2 large dogs. He handled the transition well at first, then Toby began to provoke our Great Dane. He had a stare-down with her and since then she sees him as prey. She tries to kill him if she sees him and our other dog follows. Toby now has to be in a room with a closed door at all times. He cannot roam freely. His quality of life is much diminished and stressful, and this cannot change in our home.
