About Buster

Buster is a 10-year-old Yorkie mix boy who weighs 7 pounds. Buster is being fostered in Palm Coast, FL Buster comes to us as an owner surrender. Buster needed more time, care and attention than they had to give him. Buster has been a UYR boy for about a month now. He had an adopter pending but sadly that didn't pan out so Buster is once again looking for love. He has been busy getting all the care he was lacking. Since his arrival Buster has gotten all his immunizations, been neutered, had a full lab panel, microchipping, the works! His mouth was really bad but after his major dental cleaning and many extractions he is now totally kissable and he's giving them out freely! Buster is a very healthy boy and his only issue is a very slight heart murmur that was fully evaluated and he doesn't require medication or treatment. The marking problem issue he came to us with is vastly improved, if not resolved. He is very sweet, well behaved, loves to walk outside, eats very well, gets along well with other dogs, all people, and cats. His weight is up to 6.9 lbs, which is a good thing. He loves to lie next to his person on the couch, but also does need some moderate activity. He is somewhat vocal when he wants something, and gets a little anxious in the car, so he has been started on a daily low dose of Trazadone (25 mg) which helps tremendously with that. Buster was the victim of an ugly haircut right before he came to us but his foster Mom was able to get a couple of photos of him from before so you can appreciate how absolutely adorable he will be when his hair grows out.
