Dexter is an older guy, somewhere around 8-10 years old, about 13 pounds, and honestly just an easy dog to love. He was found as a stray and never reclaimed, which is hard to understand once you meet him because he's friendly, sweet, and seems happy to be wherever his people are. Dexter is the kind of dog who fits right into your life without needing much from you. He walks nicely on a leash, rides great in the car, and loves tagging along for errands or trips. At home, he's quiet and content, perfectly happy lounging nearby and keeping you company. He's affectionate without being demanding and has that calm, steady presence that makes everything feel a little more relaxed. He came into rescue heartworm positive, went through fast kill treatment like a champ, and is now fully cleared. He's also had an extensive dental and is feeling really good. Overall, he's in great shape and ready to enjoy a comfortable, loved life. Dexter is fully vetted, including a full exam, neuter, dental, vaccinations, deworming, and fecal testing. He is current on monthly heartworm and flea prevention.
