About Jaxson

Meet Jaxson, a young 2 year old black lab who craves human affection and the comfort of a loving home.He is super Smart and handsome, this lovely family dog takes the prize for sweetness.Since December 2025, Jaxson has lived with us in his foster home. He currently lives in harmony with adults, children, and three other dogs of different sizes, sexes and breeds. He has just one problem with his current arrangement. He lives with cats which for Jaxson is like mixing oil and water. No yin for yang there. For everyone's sake, he's looking for a permanent, feline-free home.Jaxson is very quick to learn and he thrives on direction and routine. We ask him to sit for every action such as getting a treat, getting meals, before exiting the crate, and before being leashed. He sleeps all night in a crate. He plays with his foster sibs and absolutely loves to play fetch! Apart from that you can find him Velcroed to someone's side.Jaxson. He would enjoy the challenge and bonding time with his adopter. He needs more confidence building while walking on a leash because he tends to bark at strangers or cars and pull on leash.he is working really hard with training not to be fearful and pulling on leash. . A positive-reinforcement trainer will definitely help and is highly recommended. History: His previous owner said Jaxson lived with children and chickens. When they couldn't keep Jaxson, they unknowingly placed him in an abusive situation. Jaxson was recently saved from a very harmful situation and is now safe . We are experienced in rescue and fostering. In just a few days, Jaxson revealed how special he is., this remarkable dog was given a euthanasia sentence because of an irresponsible owner.we jumped in without hesitation to save him and we his foster family asked a rescue league for support.
