About Memphis

He is a Black Mouth Cur and he is the best dog I have ever had, he's extremely loving, loyal and has a huge personality. He always wants to be near me and please me; But he is extreamly Athletic and energetic and will escape from just about anything to get to where I am. Our problem is that we live in a city neighborhood and don't have the space for him to run safely or the time needed to spend with him due to both of us working jobs that don't allow animals to be with us. We also have younger children/grandchildren and he is too big and playful for them (he still thinks he is a little puppy�'�|) He was a rescue when I got him (he had been living on the parking lot of a truck stop in Forest City for at least 3 weeks�'�|) so the vet said he has abandonment issues�'�| It breaks my heart to let him go but I am realizing that I don't have the right situation for him to be truly happy so I am hoping to find someone with lots of space, older or no children that can give him a loving home with all of the personal attention and exercise he deserves.
