About Rose

Meet Rose. About 7 years old, about 50lbs. If ever a dog deserved a fresh start, it's Rose. At around 7 years old, Rose is in the golden age of doghood - mature enough to know better, but still full of life and love. Anyone who gives her a chance will see her open up quickly. Being around people brings out the best in her - she's calm and content. Rose hasn't had it easy. She's been passed around far too many times, always waiting for someone to keep their promise. But through it all, she's remained sweet, resilient, and full of love. What she wants more than anything is a family that will finally stay - one that will give her the stability, care, and devotion she's never had. For now, we think Rose would do best as the only pet in the home while we continue to evaluate her with other dogs. If you're looking for a loyal companion who's just as ready to play as she is to cuddle up and rest her head in your lap, Rose is waiting - and she'll be forever grateful for a second chance.
