Echo is a 4-month-old mixed breed puppy with the sweetest heart and a story that reminds us why rescue matters so much. He currently weighs about 10 pounds, and we expect him to be medium sized when fully grown. He has a gorgeous red-gold coat that is silky soft. Echo was found abandoned in a box in a grocery store parking lot, left behind after a botched attempt to crop his ears. We will never know why someone chose to torture this poor sweet puppy and leave him for dead, but thankfully Echo still adores people even after all he has been through. Today, Echo is fully healed, happy, and thriving. His ears are now a cosmetic difference only - he has no hearing loss or medical limitations because of them. What he does have is a bright future ahead and so much love to give. Echo loves people of all ages. He is currently being fostered with a child and three other dogs, where he has done wonderfully. He loves to play outdoors in the snow, and buries his face in the snow as much as he can. He is doing great on his potty training and crate training. He's social, resilient, and has shown just how adaptable and trusting he is despite his rough start. This sweet boy would make a fantastic addition to a family looking for a young dog who's already learning what it means to be safe, loved, and part of a home. Echo doesn't let his past define him - he's focused on toys, companionship, and being someone's very good boy. He is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and he comes with her medical records and health certificate from a veterinary examination which certifies him to be in good condition. His adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee.
