Meet Tank - The Final Hippo Pup Has Entered the Chat Last but certainly not least, it's time to introduce Tank - the final member of our beloved hippo puppy crew. You may be wondering why this chunky hunk made his debut a little later than his siblings'| and the answer is simple: Tank is a warrior. Tank was recovering from puppy strangles (also called juvenile cellulitis), a rare immune-mediated condition seen in young puppies. It can cause swelling of the face and lymph nodes, sores, and scabbing - and while it can look scary, The important thing to know is this: z%8F It is NOT contagious z%8F It is NOT caused by poor care z%8F It IS treatable Tank has completed his treatment, is feeling great, and is back to doing what puppies do best - eating, playing, napping, and being adorable. He does still have a few healing scabs, but they are resolving nicely and are purely cosmetic at this stage. As for his personality? Tank lives up to his name in the best way possible. He's a solid, sweet, affectionate little hippo with a gentle soul and a heart just as big as his paws. He loves people, enjoys playtime, and is ready to start the next chapter of his life with a family who will adore him as much as we do. Tank didn't let a rough start slow him down - and now he's ready to roll straight into a forever home. If you're looking for a resilient, loving puppy with a story and a whole lot of charm'| Tank is your guy. Ϭ We also have included a link for anyone interested in learning more about it: https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/juvenile-cellulitis-puppy-strangles
