About Karen

Meet Karen, our beautiful Akita girl who's looking for her next chapter after being part of our family 5 years. We're heartbroken to have to rehome her due to an upcoming move, but we want nothing more than to find her a perfect, loving forever home where she'll be spoiled and cherished. Karen is incredibly affectionate, loving, and loyal - she thrives on attention and being close to her people. She's a wonderful companion who enjoys cuddles, quiet time indoors, and just being adored. She was raised alongside our daughters from the time she was a puppy and has always been gentle and great with them as they grew up. However, it's been quite some time since she's been around young children, so we don't feel comfortable claiming she'd be ideal with little kids. A home with older teens/adults or no small children would be best. Important notes: Karen does not get along well with our other Akita, so we strongly recommend she be placed as the only pet in the home. No other dogs, cats, or small animals, please - she does best as a solo companion. We'd love for her new family to keep her as an indoor pet where she can be part of everyday life and receive all the love she deserves. She's house-trained, well-behaved in the home, and just an overall good, sweet dog who wants to give and receive lots of affection.
