LOCATED IN FLORIDA. Can be transported anywhere in the US. Lance is an incredible 6ish year old Husky. Lance is the 3 L's: he is loyal, loving, and a little lazy. He loves to lounge around near by, but always up for a trip to the park, beach, hike, road trip - really anything. He does well with most dogs. Intact males are always a non starter for him. He has lived with both cats and other dogs and done well in those environments. Lance needs an owner who will maintain dominance in their relationship. Lance unfortunately recently had an isolated incident where he bit a person, that put their face in his space when he was showing clear signs of uncomfortability and uneasiness. His body language was dismissed and the people continued to go into his space. With continuing to not respect his body language, she went to hug Lance and he reacted like any dog would react under heightened anxiety. Lances body language clearly showed discomfort for at least 20 seconds prior to the incident. News flash, most dogs do not like to he hugged especially in a heightened state of anxiety. It was a clear warning reaction bite from Lance and not aggression or to any degree where we would consider it aggressive, but the owner has decided she can longer keep him. She admits that his reaction was not his fault but has decided she no longer wants him. He is now in Vero Beach, FL with me and 5 dog pack. Doing well. He's gone to vet. He loves to run in the yard but is looking for his family or human.
