Hi everyone, I'm Cleopatra but people call me Cleo. I'm a 6 year old, AKC-papered, black and mahogany, American Rottweiler born January 8, 2020 in Woodbridge VA, licensed in Arlington VA, where I've lived with my family since being adopted March 6, 2020. I'm both house and crate trained, enjoying 7-8 hours a day in my crate while my humans are at work/school. I'm typically walked 2-3 times/day, and I'm great on my leash staying by your side. I enjoy kids of all ages; I grew up with my brothers (now 19 and 16 years old). I love pets from all of my neighborhood kids ranging in age as young as 2 years old; I want to sniff the babies, but their parents are not super cool with that. I enjoy playing with friendly dogs, especially if they like to run, chase and cuddle; my two neighborhood besties are a pit-mix and a black lab. I'm a healthy 80-85 pounds of muscle, and my humans feed me once daily to keep me from getting pudgy (vet's orders). They do give me daily treats on walks, and a weekend marrow bone, so my humans don't always follow the doctor's orders. My facebook has some videos of my silliness https://www.facebook.com/TeamRobinsonCorp/ Hello everyone, I'm the dog-mom. My family is military and are being stationed in Thailand summer 2026. Thailand changed the law this past year and requires a muzzle while our Rottweiler is in public. Not cool in my eyes. I want Cleo to live the rest of her life in American, free from muzzles in public. She is fully vaccinated, gets regular fecal samples and monthly heart work/flea & tick oral medicine. We have hard and soft (portable) crate, dog bed (she sleeps through the night at the base of our bed, typically going to bed before us at 9 pm and sleeping until 6 am when our alarm wakes her), and a small dog couch (since she's not allowed on my furniture, as much as she would love to be invited). A bit more about Cleo's personality: friendly, gentle, goofy and smart (words she knows: sit, leave-it, paw, (lay) down, rollover, bacon, bone, walk, dinner, attention (which she loves to ignore), and more). She is friends with all of our friends, is cool with strangers that we allow to work in our house, and she feels like our entire neighborhood is her pack. In the house, she wants to be in the room with her people, spending many hours a day laying by the desk, the couch or the bed. She thoroughly enjoys tug-of-war and scratches in all places (neck, butt and belly are her particular favorites). She enjoys sunbathing in our backyard, and barking at the squirrels/crows/fox/sometimes-deer, if they get too close to her house/yard. She doesn't bark often, so it might take you by surprise. She does have an amazing rottie-rumble that will melt your heart when you are petting her. I call her my 'Wookie' for all the rottie-rumbles she gives me. During walks, she regularly checks-in with her person and stays close (hoping for a treat); but she does not enjoy walking in heavy rain (we call her 'princess' because of this characteristic). If she's trying to get your attention to play, she will push your hand with her nose or jump like a bunny with a little rottie-rumble. She's a lover and enjoys putting her paw on you to let you know it.
