About Tank

Adoption Fee: $325
Lab mix
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Male

(DOB 11/02/2025) Due to Tank's young age, he has not been neutered yet. For this reason, we are only considering local placement (within a 1-hour drive time of Wake Forest NC). Tank is the big, bold heartthrob of the litter with the zoomies to prove it! Don't let the name fool you'|yes, he's the biggest of the bunch, but this handsome guy is just as fast as he is strong, with lightning-quick moves and a flair for playful teasing that keeps his siblings and his foster family on their toes. Because he's still very young, Tank needs someone home a good portion of the day for potty training, playtime, and outings. Long stretches alone or in a crate aren't appropriate for Tank at his age. He enjoys car rides and is always happy to hop in and go wherever his people are headed. Another important piece for Tank is leash walking. He is going to grow to be a big boy, so teaching him early to walk nicely on a leash is very important. No one wants to be pulled around so daily walks are as equally important as running around in the yard. Tank is an energetic, smart, confident, and feisty puppy who thrives on activity, engagement, and attention. He's always ready for the next adventure whether that's a game of chase, a training session, or discovering new sights, sounds, and places. Positive-reinforcement training, daily walks, structured playtime, and plenty of mental enrichment will be key to helping Tank grow into a well-mannered, well-adjusted adult. Tank adores affection just as much as action. When he's not showing off his speed or stirring up silly puppy fun, he's soaking up pets, cuddles, and praise. He loves toys of all kinds especially those that squeak, tug, or can be proudly paraded around. After a full day of play, training, and adventures, he settles down at night in a cozy makeshift kennel alongside his siblings for a well-earned snooze. Young puppies are wonderfully adaptable and often take cues from the pets already in the home. For this reason, we do require at least one other playful and confident dog in the home for Tank to bond, play, learn, and grow up with! Having a canine sibling will help him burn energy, learn boundaries, and continue building confidence. He loves spending his days playing with his puppy pals and getting outside to romp and explore. A fenced yard is a YES for Tank, so he has a great, safe place for his zoomies & goofing off with his pals. With gentle introductions and a cat that is open to adjusting, puppies typically do very well living with feline friends. Tank is still learning about the world and can be bouncy, mouthy, and full of joyful energy. For this reason, homes with very young children may find the puppy stage a bit challenging. With loving adult supervision at all times, puppies and children can learn to grow together safely and happily. With the right guidance, structure, and lots of love, this confident little powerhouse will grow into an incredible companion. If you're ready for big puppy energy, silly antics, and a lifetime commitment, Tank may be the perfect mix of strength, speed, and sweetness you've been looking for As part of Tank's $325 adoption fee, he will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. In addition to the adoption fee, a $100 spay/neuter deposit and puppy spay/neuter agreement will also be required. The deposit will be returned once the puppy is altered.
