About Mabel

Adoption Fee: $325
Lab mix
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Female

(DOB 11/02/2025) Due to Mabel's young age, she has not been spayed yet. For this reason, we are only considering local placement (within a 1-hour drive time of Wake Forest NC). Mabel is proof that the very best things truly do come in small packages. She may be the tiniest of the litter, but her heart is absolutely the biggest. Overflowing with sweetness, charm, and just a sprinkle of playful sass, Mabel is the kind of puppy who makes you fall in love in seconds. This little girl is a certified snuggler and lap dog who wants nothing more than to be close to her people. She happily soaks up affection, delivers enthusiastic kisses, and melts into your arms for cuddle time. Belly rubs? Yes, please. Pets? The more, the better. Mabel is gentle, loving, and wonderfully social with people, other dogs, and kids alike. When playtime rolls around, Mabel brings the fun. She's playful, happy, curious, and confident, with a feisty little spark that keeps things entertaining. She loves all the classics to include squeaker toys, chew toys, and stuffed toys-and she's especially lovely because she shares her toys easily. Whether she's romping with her dog friends or engaging her humans in a game, she does it all with a joyful wag. That being said, she is looking for a home with a fun filled fenced in yard and another playful pup to be her new besite. Mabel is also smart, obedient, and eager to please. She's food- and treat-motivated, easily redirected, and enjoys learning through positive reinforcement. Her loyal nature and willingness to learn make her a joy to train and a wonderful companion in the making. Speaking of training make sure there is time for daily leash walks for Mabel, so she can quite literally 'learn the ropes' of walking nicely on leash. Young puppies are wonderfully adaptable and often take cues from the pets already in the home. For this reason, we do require at least one other playful and confident dog in the home for Mabel to bond, play, learn, and grow up with! With gentle introductions and a cat that is open to adjusting, puppies typically do very well living with feline friends. Puppies are still learning about the world and can be bouncy, mouthy, and full of joyful energy. For this reason, homes with very young children may find the puppy stage a bit challenging. With loving adult supervision at all times, puppies and children can learn to grow together safely and happily. At the end of the day, Mabel is happiest curled up close, recharging with cuddles and kisses before her next adventure. If you're looking for a sweet, loving, playful puppy with a heart of gold and a lap-dog soul, Mabel might just be your perfect match. As part of Mabel's $325 adoption fee, she will be spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. In addition to the adoption fee, a $100 spay/neuter deposit and puppy spay/neuter agreement will also be required. The deposit will be returned once the puppy is altered.
