Ella is so so sweet! I adtoped her 2 years ago. She was brought from Houston Texas to Castle pines Co. I have 5 children. Including a toddler and new born. She does fantastic with my kids and loves them very much. We also have a cat. From time to time she tries to run after her. But all you have to do is say Ella stop or go get in your bed and she does immediately. She is incredibly loving loyal and exceptionally a good listener. Comes about Ella she was abused very bad and had three letters before she was three years old. So her hips hurt. I have bought her special beds that are around $500 each and she absolutely loves them she loves to play but honestly if she's walked regularly and loved Don for the rest of the day she really just sleeps in her beds. So it's kind of nice because she is not a hyperactive Rottweiler whatsoever so it makes it really nice having small children because she likes to play and be engaged but for only a short time every day because then she likes to just hang out She eats well and she also does exceptionally Well off a leash she listens and stays with you and follows you. Another car is on a leash she is extremely reactive If there is any other dogs Or men she has the most scary bark in the whole world and she looks like she's going to eat them all So you do have to be strong I'm a 5 foot 420 pound girl and I can walk her but I do have to really hold onto her when we see other animals because I do live in a townhouse Community and I do not have a backyard So When we see other animals we just immediately go the other way because she will freak out When she is not on a leash she does fine with other dogs Before we moved into this townhouse we lived in a home with a yard and she did amazing with our good friends other dog who would come over to play all the time they played together and enjoyed each other's company. But once you put Ella on the leash she would then do the same thing she does to all dogs to even her friend when she's on a leash. Something about the leash makes her feel extremely threatened so it's best she has a yard so you don't have to worry about walking her around with other dogs every single day I unfortunately moved into this townhouse and my husband is out of state working for the next two months And I just cannot hold my infant and toddler and walker on a leash when we have so many dogs in our community like there's constantly a dog outside and she is constantly reacting to them She is so kind and so obedient she needs a loving home she's a very easy dog besides having to walk her on a leash she's truly a 10 out of 10 if you have a yard Oh and if she does see a dog on the TV she will also immediately go on point and you have to tell her Ella go lay down or no and she will listen and then disengage. She is also kennel trained very well and has no problem being in her kennel. I prefer to put her in her kennel when I leave and all you have to do is tell her Ella go get in your kennel and she does sometimes she even opens it with her nose Again she's a very easy loving dog but if you have to walk her on a leash you need to be away from other dogs and men she doesn't know. She does very well with my husband but she knows he's safe I also did register her as an ESA so she could go with us wherever we go because she does not like to be left alone for long periods obviously no dog does but whenever we go to the mountains we always bring her with us and that way she can stay out whatever hotels we're staying out we just have to avoid other animals when walking her. Also my husband says when he walks her on a leash she's not as reactive she seems to listen to male dominance better and I'm the pushover and she knows that
