About Bear

Adoption Fee: $325
Lab mix
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Male

(DOB 11/02/2025) Due to Bear's young age, he has not been neutered yet. For this reason, we are only considering local placement (within a 1-hour drive time of Wake Forest NC). Bear is a handsome little heart-stealer with the perfect balance of laid-back charm and playful spirit. This sweet boy has a calm, easy-going vibe that makes him a joy to be around, paired with just enough puppy energy to keep life fun and full of smiles. We think you will come up with all kinds of cute nicknames like (Baby Bear, Big Bear, Bear-Bear, Beautiful Black Bear or Bear-y) to match is cute personality. Bear thrives in a loving home with plenty of time and attention for positive-reinforcement training, exercise, and all the important puppy basics. He'll need someone home most of the day to help with potty training, leash walking skills, and continued learning as he grows into a well behaved and handsome young adult. With patience, consistency, and lots of encouragement, Bear is sure to blossom into a wonderful lifelong companion. Young puppies are wonderfully adaptable and often take cues from the pets already in the home. For this reason, we do require at least one other playful and confident dog in the home for Bear to bond, play, learn and grow up with! A secure, fenced yard is also required, giving Bear the perfect space to romp, play, and enjoy outdoor fun with his four-legged sibling. With gentle introductions and a cat that is open to adjusting, puppies typically do very well living with feline friends. Bear loves the simple joys in life like lounging by your side, soaking up affection, and then happily jumping into a game of tug-a-war or playtime when the mood strikes. He offers endless sweetness, love, and loyalty, making him the kind of puppy who fits right into your heart and your home. If you're ready for puppy life, daily adventures, and a loyal companion who brings both calm and playfulness to the table, Bear may be the perfect match for your family. Puppies are still learning about the world and can be bouncy, mouthy, and full of joyful energy. For this reason, homes with very young children may find the puppy stage a bit challenging. With loving adult supervision at all times, puppies and children can learn to grow together safely and happily. This black beauty is ready to join you for a lifetime of love! As part of Bear's $325 adoption fee, he will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. In addition to the adoption fee, a $100 spay/neuter deposit and puppy spay/neuter agreement will also be required. The deposit will be returned once the puppy is altered.
