Lexi is an 8-year old female Border Collie. She's very intelligent and very high energy. She's at her best/happiest when she is playing ball. She has never been an affectionate dog and doesn't like to be touched--grooming is a challenge because of that. From an early age she has been a 'nipper' but as she has gotten older, she has gotten more aggressive with several instances of biting. She is on fluoxitine, CBD oil and THC oil, with minimal improvement. She has primarily been a house dog with lots of daily exercise (2 hours per day of a combination of walks and ball play), but I believe being primarily outdoors with a job to do would benefit her. I think she would thrive on a farm--she has good herding instincts but has not been trained to herd. Despite her 'personality' challenges, I believe she can be a good dog in the right setting.
