Neighbors tried to help by leaving food and water, but he had no safe place to go. Eventually, he was caught and brought to the San Jacinto Shelter, where he is now waiting for help. Meet Maximus This Gentle, Handsome German Shepherd. ID# A1892573. This very sweet neutered male German Shepherd is 4 years old and weighs 70.4 lbs. Maximus came into the shelter on December 18 as a stray. He does have a microchip, but heartbreakingly, his owner never came for him during the full stray hold period.
