About Maverick

I am looking for a trusting and loving home for my recent adopted 1 year old Belgian Malinois Vizsla mix, Maverick. I recently have gone through a lot of mental health struggles and changes in lifestyle and I believe he deserves more. I have his health in my best interest and truly want to give him another chance in a new home rather than bringing him back to a shelter. I understand the judgement I will receive for rehoming, but I am trying my best to provide him with the best life. He is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. He also potty trained and knows basic commands like sit and lay down. He sleeps in a crate throughout the night and loves enrichment toys to get his mind thinking. He is an energetic boy who needs all the love and attention. He would thrive in an active household where he can be taken on multiple walks a day and given the exercise he needs. He is very good with other people, but reactive towards other dogs, so no homes with other dogs until training is provided. It was also recommended to have a home with children over 12. I would love any guidance or assistance that people could provide, whether that is finding a foster for him, or a forever home. If you know anyone looking for a sweet pup please let me know.
