About Shooter

Shooter came to us after surviving unthinkable cruelty. He was found as a stray with a snare trap around his waist, and someone had even tried to shoot him twice. Despite everything he's endured, Shooter is sweetness itself, leaning in for love and wagging his tail at every kind word. This brave boy deserves a home where he will know safety, kindness, and the gentle life he should have always had. Shooter weighs 45 pounds and is 1 to 2 years old. He's good in the car, crate trained, and showed no interest in cats during testing. A good home for Shooter is calm and loving, with plenty of time to decompress and build trust. He benefits from gradual introductions to new environments and routines, and a secure space to continue thriving. Shooter brings forgiveness, a friendly and affectionate demeanor, and an easy car ride companion. He is eager to learn and grow in a stable, positive home. Located in Houston, Texas. Transport to most states available for an additional fee of $300.
