Meet Dorothy %BC 6-month-old Lab/Golden mix | Spayed | UTD on vaccines | Professional Good Girl Dorothy is the kind of puppy who makes you believe in fate. She came to us from an Amish farm when her former owner realized the dogs deserved more medical care, socialization, and opportunity than he could provide-and wow, are we glad he did. Dorothy is sweet, curious, and quietly confident. While she's still coming out of her shell, she does it a little more each day, especially when she has a canine friend to show her the ropes. She absolutely adores her sister Blanche (besties for life), and while we'd love to see them adopted together, Dorothy would thrive just as well with another friendly, confident dog in the home. Like most Lab puppies, Dorothy is active, playful, and fully prepared to grow into a dog who wants to be included in everything-walks, adventures, couch time, and whatever snack you're eating (she promises to just watch'| mostly). Medical transparency moment (because we're responsible adults here): Dorothy is Lyme positive, which is not a big deal as she is not symptomatic. She's already been treated with doxycycline and feels great. She may test positive for life, but Lyme is not contagious to other pets in the home. Dorothy is the perfect mix of gentle and goofy, and she's ready for a home that will keep building her confidence, continue her training, and remind her every day that she's safe, loved, and exactly where she belongs.
