About Oliver

Location: Lancaster, OH Meet Oliver ��%BD��%BD��%BD%A4 1.5 year old Labrador Sweet boy. Serious fetch agenda. Questionable relationship with mirrors. Oliver came to us from an Amish farm and is currently mastering a very important life skill: how to be a dog. He missed some early confidence-building, but he's catching up quickly-and taking his job very seriously. Oliver is incredibly sweet, smart, and deeply loyal once he trusts you. He loves humans more than anything (except fetch), will chase a ball for as long as your arm allows, and performs the most dramatic full-body stretches you've ever seen-front legs, back legs, full production. He also enjoys a good roll in the snow like it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience. He's still a bit of a nervous guy. Car rides make him anxious and drooly (emotional support towel recommended), and mirrors are��%BD'��%BD| not his friends. He once caught a glimpse of himself, growled, and promptly ran away. Growth is a journey. Oliver is warming up to other dogs at his own pace and has never had a negative reaction-he's more of an 'I'll observe from over here, thanks' type. With structure, decompression, and clear guidance, his confidence continues to build. He is fully housebroken and crate trained. Oliver is the kind of dog who tries very hard just to make you proud-and then leans against you for reassurance afterward. Oliver is looking for a patient, dog-savvy home that understands confidence is built-not rushed. Give him time, consistency, and love, and he'll reward you with loyalty, progress, daily laughs, and a very sincere tail wag.
