She watches her younger friends leave for their forever homes, one by one, while she remains behind. Right now, she is in boarding, kenneled for over 20 hours a day, and it breaks our hearts. Her bio: Mina is a 13-year-old, healthy, beautiful senior with so much love left to give. She is affectionate, loyal, and truly an A+++ girl. She walks beautifully on a leash, is housebroken, crate trained, and one of the sweetest pups you could ever meet. Mina loves the simple things-cozying up next to her people, watching TV, and just being near the ones she loves. She is calm, gentle, and laid-back. Like many seniors who have lost everything, she does have some separation anxiety, but she has already been improving with patience and reassurance. A home with someone retired, home often, or working from home would be perfect for her. She deserves to spend her golden years surrounded by warmth and love-not locked in a crate for 20 hours a day.
