About Gideon

Our poor Giddy boy is getting old and cranky (possibly losing eye sight). With his bite history we arent comfortable keeping him with young children in the house. He is a lover and does great with his grownups. He hates deliveries, cant really handle himself well on walks, may make a mess out of spite if left alone, cannot be crated or kenneled. We had to have a dog sitter come when we went away. We recognize this will be quite a challenge to rehome him but want to try before having him put down. Our dog trainer and vet are both aware of his history and issues. He would be a good snuggle companion for a quiet retired single ir couple with no kids or pets and not many visitors. We did have to muzzle him to have company but haven't had to do that in a few years, though he seems to be getting crankier again. Not sure how hed be in a new home with new people. We gave him a loving home for 11 years after hed been returned 3x for aggression. Breaks our hearts to be at thus junction.
