About Mortie

Meet Mortie. He is a Cattle Dog with a natural stumpy tail. He may actually be a Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog. He was born in April 2024 and weighs 40 pounds. Mortie knows his basics: sit, shake. He is house trained and will tell you when he needs to go out. He is crate trained and sleeps in his crate. Mortie is good with men, women, and older kids. Mortie is good with other dogs. He doesn't live with another dog at the moment but was raised with other dogs. He did enjoy playing with them, too. Cats? No. Mortie likes to fetch. He also can throw the ball with his mouth to play catch so he can play fetch by himself. He even throws things like carrots if he really wants to play! Mortie is a great adventure pal. He is good on leash and loves to go for car rides. Mortie needs a new home because, while he likes pretty much everyone he has met, he is very unsure around the autistic son in his home. He gets nervous and snippy/growly so just needs a home without special needs family members. For his person, Mortie is a love. He is a best pal who likes to go out and about, then come home and cuddle. He will even snack with you�'�|he likes fresh watermelon (but not tomatoes). Mortie is current on his rabies vaccine. He isn't yet neutered. He is located in Fontana, CA and is ready to meet with the adopter who will become his forever home.
