
Meet Tony Lama Tony Lama has arrived in Wisconsin and is settling into foster care. He is a sweet, playful puppy who is ready to find a loving forever home. Tony Lama is approximately 3 months old and came from a neglect situation with his mama, Ariat. Despite his rough start, he is a happy, affectionate pup with lots of love to give. Tony Lama has a brown and white coat and currently weighs about 8 lbs. Like all puppies, Tony Lama will need patience, training, and consistency as he works on potty training, crate training, and leash manners. With guidance and love, he will grow into a wonderful lifelong companion. Apply: Fill out adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents. 2.)Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email. 3.)Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: after approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5 day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure its the right fit. 4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue. 5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process we conduct a home visit either in person or via zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have. 6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. The procedure MUST be done at HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI. If you would like to go through your veterinarian or another location, we will reimburse $150 once we receive proof of the procedure. We recommend spay/neuter around 6 months old. **Note: Adoptions are not considered final until the dog is neutered/spayed if applicable**
