About Patch

Patch's world changed when his senior owner passed away after a long illness. Her daughter fought to find help for him, refusing to surrender him to a system that would not understand him - and because of that love, Patch is now safe. Patch is confused and unsure about life and wha happens next, but he is not hopeless. He simply needs patience, guidance, and someone who believes in him. Like many dogs who have lived small lives, he is still learning what safety, routine, and trust feel like. Patch is young, full of promise, and deserving of a future. With the right person - one who understands the heeler breed and values progress over perfection - Patch can absolutely thrive. Patch doesn't need to be fixed. He needs to be loved.
