
Brody Needs a Foster or Adopter by 1/17/26 Brody must have a foster or adopter commitment by Saturday, 1/17/26 to secure his spot on the transport truck to Cedarburg, WI with Mutt Life Dog Rescue. Without a home commitment, he will not be able to make the trip. Brody will be available for foster or adoption starting 1/17/26. Meet Brody Brody was found as a stray, so his past is unknown. What we do know is that he is an approximately 1.5-year-old shepherd mix weighing 45 lbs. He is a playful, energetic young dog who enjoys running, pouncing, and active play. Brody has a goofy, happy personality and is always ready for his next adventure. Brody is missing one ear. The cause is unknown, but it does not slow him down and only adds to his unique appearance. Apply: Fill out adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents. 2.)Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email. 3.)Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: after approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5 day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure its the right fit. 4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue. 5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process we conduct a home visit either in person or via zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have. 6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. The procedure MUST be done at HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI. If you would like to go through your veterinarian or another location, we will reimburse $150 once we receive proof of the procedure. We recommend spay/neuter around 6 months old. **Note: Adoptions are not considered final until the dog is neutered/spayed if applicable**
