About Copper

Hello, my name is Copper and im and I'm a chocolate lab American Brittany mix. I love cuddles on the couch, and laying by you while you eat (don't worry, I don't beg). I enjoy being outside with my people and playing fetch. I'm great at bringing the ball back, and will even roll it closer to you if I drop it too far away. I enjoy walks, and I'm leash trained. I like running around at the lake and in open fields, though sometimes I get distracted by smells. I like a good bath or pool to play in during the summer, but my outside water dish will do in a pinch. I know basic commands, il kennel and potty trained, though I don't like being outside by myself. I do good in the car, as long as I can lay on the passenger side floor, and don't eat before long trips. I do great with kids and cats, and I get along with smaller dogs. My vet trips are usually easy, as I like new smells and people. I do have some anxiety about being outside and having my nails trimmed. My only health issue is cysts between my toes, and occasionally on my tail, but they go away and the vet said they don't need vet care unless my people want them drained. My current owners love me, but are unable to meet my needs. For the right family, they are willing to alter the fee, or simply take it to their local shelter and donate it. She is also willing to send more pictures to those that are interested
