About Lovey

Lovey came into rescue after her senior owner passed away following a long battle with cancer. Her daughter tried everything she could to find help, refusing to give up on the dogs her mother loved - and that is how Lovey found her way to safety. Lovey is not broken. She is confused, and in need of kindness, patience, and structure - but she is also full of potential and heart. What matters most is that Lovey is still here and ready for a second chance. Lovey will do best with someone who understands heelers, respects her pace, and is willing to help her learn that the world can be kind. Lovey can do well with dogs, cats and kids with slow and appropriate introductions. Lovey doesn't need perfection. She needs compassion. She needs someone willing to see who she can become.
