Macy has taken her Freedom Ride from California to North Carolina - ready to begin her next chapter with a loving family. Macy is a 1-year-old spayed Border Collie mix with a playful, happy personality and all the charm of a young dog discovering how wonderful life can be. She is affectionate, bonds quickly with her people, and loves to play with other dogs. During her foster stay, she did great with medium to large dogs and matched their energy beautifully. She has had brief, positive interactions with cats and did well, though slow introductions are recommended. Macy would thrive in a home with another well-socialized medium to large dog to help her continue building confidence and joy. She is eager to love, eager to learn, and eager to belong.
