About Blaze

Meet Blaze, a 5-year-old brown and white kitty with a gentle heart and a sweet soul. He came to our rescue with seven other cats after a devastating house fire in Ansonia just before Christmas. When the family's home caught fire, the cats were left behind to fend for themselves in a space that was suddenly unsafe and unfamiliar. Despite everything he's been through, Blaze has held onto his quiet spirit and is now ready for a fresh start in a furever home. He can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but once he warms up, his affectionate and loving personality truly shines. He enjoys the company of other kitties and would love a home where he has a feline friend to keep him company, though not required. One of his favorite pastimes is relaxing and watching 'cat TV,' happily observing the world from the comfort of a cozy spot. Blaze is a very sweet boy who would thrive in a calm, loving home where he's given the time he needs to feel safe and secure. Once he does, you'll have a loyal, gentle friend by your side. He is currently at the Purrfect Lounge in Plainville, a cat lounge where guests can visit and play with the cats. All meet & greets for Blaze will take place there, giving you a chance to see his sweet personality in action! His adoption fee is $250 ($200 goes to the rescue, $50 to the lounge) and Blaze is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and neutered.
