About MAYA

Meet Maya ��%A4%8D - and please read with intention. Maya is a 1.5-year-old Border Collie mix, medium sized, bright, athletic, and deeply loving. She is the kind of dog who wants to be with her person-moving, learning, exploring, and bonding every single day. She is very active and highly engaged, which means she will thrive with adopters who understand working breeds and are excited to meet her needs: daily physical exercise, mental enrichment, structure, and inclusion as a true family member. Maya is not a 'sometimes' dog-she is an all-in companion. Maya is currently in Mexico and, once the right match is found, she could be ready to fly to Seattle, WA in a few weeks. Because of this, we are being especially intentional. Our dogs are not placed based on urgency alone-their long-term wellbeing is always our priority. To set everyone up for success, Maya will do best in a home with teens and adults only, where her energy, focus, and needs can be fully supported.
