[Read About Natural Incontinence Care] Beautiful 2-Year-Old Female Alaskan Malamute Needs a Forever Home with Constant Companionship %BD%9D%A4%BD%BD%8F Meet our sweet girl - a stunning Alaskan Malamute turning 2 this April. She's spayed, up-to-date on all vaccines and vet care (full paperwork included since we got her as a puppy), and has been a cherished indoor family member her whole life. Here's what makes her so special: %BD' Super affectionate and people-oriented - she just wants to be near her humans all the time! %BD' Fantastic with children and our cat - gentle, patient, and loving. %BD' Very smart: She rings a bell to go outside, opens the slider door with her nose, and is house-trained (poops and pees outside reliably when we're home). %BD' Mostly over her chewing phase - she's matured into a calm, sweet companion indoors. %BD' Stubborn in that classic Malamute way, but responds well to positive reinforcement and wants to please. A few important things to know (we want her to go to the PERFECT match): %BD' She has severe separation anxiety. Even short absences lead to anxious behaviors like peeing on furniture/rugs (not marking - pure stress). We've tried meds (which help a lot with overall anxiety and car rides), but she still needs a home where someone is home most of the time or can arrange near-constant company (e.g., work-from-home, retired, or someone with a very flexible schedule). No long workdays or frequent leaving her alone. %BD' She hates being crated - will break out or rub her skin raw trying to escape, so crating isn't an option. %BD' Car anxiety: She drools heavily and sometimes gets motion sick (meds help), so short, calm car rides are best. We rarely travel with her. %BD' Not sure about other dogs - she'd likely be timid at first but could warm up to a calm companion. She's an incredible dog who thrives on love, attention, and routine. She'd be happiest in a patient home with an experienced large-breed owner who can be her constant buddy - no kennels, no long alone time. We're heartbroken to rehome her but want her to have the life she deserves with someone who can meet her needs. Serious inquiries only - we'll screen carefully and prefer a meet-and-greet. If you think you might be her forever person, please message me with a bit about yourself, your household, daily routine, and experience with Malamutes or anxious dogs.
