Cinder was rescued from a puppy mill in Texas. She is 44 pounds and a little over 3 years old. All of her vaccines and deworming are up to date. She is spayed and microchipped. Cinder attended a 3-month training program at Starmark Academy in Hutto, TX. She learned off-leash recall at 50 feet (her recalls are so fun-she runs to you with her whole heart, so excited to be with you), paw, spin, turn, target, touch, tug, puppy push-ups, retrieve, sit pretty, crawl, 'you're under arrest,' heel, and heel dance. She also does automatic sits while heeling and at doorways, and can be sent to her crate from 20 feet away. She is crate trained. She has experience with agility, including the A-frame, tunnel, dog walk, jumps, hoop, and place. Her sit duration is 2 minutes, or 1 minute around other dogs. Her down is 6 minutes, or 3 minutes in a group. Her place is 10 minutes, or 5 minutes with other dogs. Cinder really enjoys training and is fun to watch, though she does have her limit. You can usually tell when she's done because she'll flop onto her back like a little couch potato. She is incredibly sweet and loves every person she meets. She is great with kids and has no sensitive spots on her body. She's also a dream for nail trims. Cinder loves to snuggle and really enjoys her couch time. She's great at sleeping next to you in a way that keeps you both comfortable. One of her favorite things is sitting in the car-I'm not sure why, but she'll jump in, find her spot, and just sit there for hours, completely content. Her zoomies are adorable. She loves toys, especially ones with squeakers. Her absolute favorite thing is going to the river-she'll Superman dive into the water, and her favorite part is trying to catch the splashes. She loves belly rubs and will happily soak up all the attention. She makes quiet little pig noises throughout the day, which is adorable. Her fur is soft like silk, making her even better to cuddle. She loves to play and be part of what's going on. The home I hope for her is one with a yard where she can run, and people who will snuggle and pamper her. She truly is a special dog. She's had a very hard life-her C-section scars from the puppy mill show some of what she's been through-but she has really come out of her shell. Every day, she's just happy to be loved. She deserves so much.
