About Zeik

Zeik's Story Zeik is a big dog with a bigger heart. He loves hard. He leans in. He wants to be close. And he never meant to hurt anyone, especially not the baby he adored. But Zeik doesnt understand how big he is. No matter how careful he tries to be, his body moves faster than his awareness. A nudge, a tail wag, a step too close, and the baby would go down. Every time, it scares everyone. Every time, it reminded us that love alone wasn't enough to keep her safe. So we made the hardest decision a family can make. Not because Zeik was bad Not because he failed But because our job as parents is to protect our child, every single time, even when it breaks our hearts. Finding Zeik a new home doesn't mean we stopped loving him. It means we loved him and our baby enough to choose safety over comfort, logic over guilt, and responsibility over denial. Zeik deserves a home where his size is celebrated. Where his enthusiasm isn't dangerous. Where his love can be given freely.
