About Sixx

Meet Sixx! ��%90%BE Sixx was adopted as a puppy (then known as Buster), but after a year and a half he was returned to the rescue due to 'allergies.' The stories varied-but the truth became clear: Sixx doesn't have allergies, he has anxiety. With the right environment and support, he has absolutely thrived since returning to rescue! Sixx is a 2-year-old Black Mouth Cur mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for play. He must have another playful, confident dog in the home, as he truly shines with a canine companion to help him feel secure and engaged. He is fully housetrained, uses a doggy door, and has such excellent manners that he is not kenneled in his foster home. Sixx is very treat-motivated, loves learning and interacting, and is always up for fun. He has zero food, treat, or toy aggression. He loves walks and playing in water. This sweet boy absolutely adores his humans-whether that means playing, following you around, or snuggling in bed or on the couch. He loves chasing balls and happily plays with just about any toy you give him. Sixx is a loving, joyful dog who will do best in a home that understands his need for companionship and provides him with a confident canine friend. In return, he offers loyalty, affection, and endless fun.
