About Cinder

Adoption Fee: $250
Domestic Cat
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Meet Cinder, a two-year-old cutie with a gentle soul and a charming personality. She came to our rescue with seven other cats after a devastating house fire in Ansonia just before Christmas. When the family's home caught fire, the cats were left behind to fend for themselves in a space that was suddenly unsafe and unfamiliar. Despite everything she's been through, Cinder has held onto her quiet spirit and is now ready for a fresh start in a furever home. Cinder is the kind of cat who doesn't rush-she likes to take her time observing the world around her, approaching new situations with soft curiosity and calm confidence. Independent yet affectionate, she strikes the perfect balance between doing her own thing and enjoying human companionship. She loves pets and attention, but on her terms-she'll come to you when she's ready, making those moments feel extra special. Her understated sweetness and relaxed nature make her a wonderful companion for someone who appreciates a more subtle, soulful connection. With patience and love, Cinder will reward you with trust, affection, and a steady, comforting presence in your home. She is currently at the Purrfect Lounge in Plainville, a cat lounge where guests can visit and play with the cats. All meet & greets for Cinder will take place there, giving you a chance to see her sweet personality in action! Her adoption fee is $250 ($200 goes to the rescue, $50 to the lounge) and Cinder is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and spayed.
