Loki is a 1%BD%BD-year-old intact male Jack Russell Terrier who may be small at just 11 pounds, but his capacity for love is enormous. As the runt of his litter, Loki has irreversible neurological damage that causes overstimulation and separation anxiety. These challenges are managed with medication, and Loki thrives when he has consistent companionship and a calm, attentive environment. Loki cannot be left unattended and does not do well in a crate or kennel. What he offers in return is unwavering devotion. He is fully house-trained, sleeps soundly through the night, and loves being close to his people. He is a true people-dog-especially fond of children-and does well with other animals. Larger dogs can sometimes be a bit too much for him due to his size, but Loki is friendly and social. He has a healthy appetite and is current on all vaccinations and medications. Physically, he is in excellent health, with good hearing, clear eyes, a healthy coat, and strong teeth. Loki is seeking a home where he can be the center of attention-someone who is with him all of the time and able to provide reassurance, structure, and love. A quiet, stable environment focused on Loki will help him feel safe and confident. In return, Loki will reward his companion with a lifetime of affection, loyalty, and love. He is a special-needs dog with a special heart, waiting for the right person to see just how much love he has to give.
