About APRIL

From her foster mom: 'April is a sweetheart. She needs a young family with another pup to roll around with. She's potty trained, she loves to go on walks and observe the squirrels. She's very social once she feels comfortable with you. She doesn't like loud noises, but loves classical music. She's a kitchen dog, always wanting to know what you're doing in there...and is there going to be any chicken for her. April, like many women, has a shoe obsession. She doesn't chew the shoes but she will pick one up and carry it around. Her favorite is my rubber garden shoe. She also loves to look at herself in the mirror. I have yet to hear her bark. She was spayed the other day and I heard one little whimper that night. Otherwise, she simply laid down next to me, lifted one leg so I could see what had happened to her and give her a little belly rub. She is used to riding in the car now. I have taken her on short trips to acclimate her to the car. She starts out on the floor, but soon moves up to the sitting on the seat in back and is no longer afraid to get in or out of the car. Today, we made a quick trip to Petco to look for a toy. She was so well behaved and sweet. If you are reading this and thinking about meeting Ms. April, I guarantee that you'll never regret it.
