About Diesel in Aurora

Please direct all inquiries to Diesel's owner at [email protected] ** This handsome fella is Diesel. He has a sad story, but we are hoping to change that for him soon. Diesel's owner (who he has been with since he was a puppy) recently passed away, leaving him sad and confused. Diesel is staying with a family member, but can't stay there very much longer. He needs a new forever home of his very own! Diesel was born on 10/16/2019 making him 6 years young. He is neutered and up to date on his rabies vaccination and microchipped. Diesel takes Apoquel for mild skin allergies. Diesel has been loved for his whole life. The past two years, his owner had been sick, so Diesel didn't get much exercise (and a few too many treats), so he is overweight at around 30 pounds. Nothing that a good diet, and a daily walk or outside play time won't fix. Diesel has never been around other dogs or cats, so we aren't sure how he would be in a home with them. He will do best in a home with no young children. He loves loves loves adult people though! He greets visitors with a wagging tail and begs for pets. Diesel needs a home with a securely fenced back yard so he can run and play outside. He definitely needs to be an indoor dog though. He wants to be where his person is. A vet reference and home visit are required to adopt Diesel. He is currently living near Aurora, Illinois and his new owner will need to drive to that area to meet and adopt Diesel.
